One of the highlights of my year (there have been many – from visiting the patients at St. Jude Hospital to Associate Producing my first NYC show, Listen to Your Mother), has been working with Playwright Horizons on a six-month social media campaign.  Playwrights Horizons is one of the country’s most important incubators of new plays and musicals and to say that I am fortunate to call them a client is AMAZING.

This is the reason that I am writing this post.  Without Playwright Horizons, so many important productions would not have come to NYC including Wendy Wasserstein’s Heidi Chronicles (my favorite play of all time), Jon Robin Baitz’s The Substance of Fire, Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Sunday in the Park with George, William Finn’s March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland, Bruce Norris’s Clybourne Park, Alfred Uhry’s Driving Miss Daisy and so many others.

The NYC theater landscape would NOT be the same without Playwright Horizons.

Playwrights Horizons is in the midst of its first-ever LIKE Campaign, encouraging their followers to dial up our Facebook page and hit the LIKE button. They have been given an incentive to do so: $10,000 from an Anonymous donor, if they hit 10,000 LIKES by June 30. They’re at around 8000 now, and still have a ways to go.

So, please head over their page on Facebook, and while there, you can enter to win a $250 Apple Store Gift Card.

I am attaching a graphic, and some suggested text (but feel free to reword).

Disclosure: I was not compensated to post this information.
