As the mother of a special needs child, I have a strong awareness about how children are treated and perceived by society. A Toyota Adventure to Hilton Short Hills to see Listen to Your Mother

Last weekend my family and I ventured to New Jersey for a bit of an adventure. I was given a Toyota 4Runner to test out for our journey and was eager to set out on our family road trip. Now There’s a First….and a Moral Dilemma

I had something crazy happen to me today.  My babysitter's husband came to clean up our garden.  We actually do all of our own gardening, but it needed a serious clean-up.  I've been using my babysitter on a semi-irregular to now regular basis for several years.  She is very young; as is her husband.  They came here from Guatemala a few years ago and have a child together.  I've been to their apartment several times and I can see that life is not easy.  They are crammed into a room with several cousins and extended family.  They all work so hard - Read More
