An Evening with Gabriel Byrne at the Pelham Picture House

Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning for a night with the fabulous stage and screen actor, Gabriel Byrne at the Pelham Picture House. Byrne, the star of the HBO series In Treatment and such iconic films as The Usual Suspects, will discuss his long, trans-continental acting career and give us a glimpse of what’s still to come.  Prior to the discussion, they will hold a 20th anniversary screening of Miller’s Crossing.  The film is set in an unnamed Eastern city in 1929.  The friendship between the local political boss (Albert Finney) and Tom (Byrne), the man behind the man, is severed when they fall for same woman (Marcia Gay Harden). Tom joins ranks with Johnny Caspar, Leo’s enemy and rival, in a race for political power, resulting in a bloody, citywide gang war.  Written and directed by the Coen Bros.
The event is taking place on Saturday, June 12th with a wine reception at 6:30pm, the screening at 7pm, a discussion at 9pm with Byrne and a 10pm VIP reception with him in attendance.  Tickets are $30 online/$35 at the door and includes the wine reception, the screening and the discussion.

*Tickets (online only) are $25 for the VIP reception at MAD cafe afterward.  Limited number only.
