Where You’ll Find Me

Where You'll FInd Me Friday

I haven’t been writing as much as of late, not due to a shortage of things to talk about, but mainly because of a workload that has been taking me away from doing some of the things I love. Yep, when you work full time, it’s hard to partake in the things you love. Last week a business trip took me to Los Angeles, and I went a few days early and enjoyed the beauty of Southern California. I went boogie boarding in Santa Monica, dining in SilverLake, exploring in Pasadena and hiking in the Palisades. It was heaven, and a bonus, I was on my own, without the kids, who were having a great time without me so all is well on that front.

I’m also helping a client write a book and another with social media marketing efforts. And I’ve got my cause marketing work. I just finished a project with Family Planning 2020 and the UNF. Work is busy.

But there is so much out there to take in when you get a chance. I just finished The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, which was so good, and now I’m reading My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferante and have several other books in line. I’m binging and watching a lot of TV shows, from Stranger Things on Netflix to Odd Mom Out, Unreal and Difficult People. Plus, I’ve gotten to the cinema several times and caught Ghost Busters, Captain Fantastic and Absolutely Fabulous….all which I loved. I’ve joined several NYC theaters so in the fall, I’m going to a lot of plays. My favorite Broadway show of the summer was She Loves Me, which unfortunately just left our stages.

This blog is an outlet for me to express my love for everything culture, and I am thinking about its future again. Meanwhile, I write elsewhere, too, and I hope you’re reading my work. Here’s a short list:
