Last weekend my son and I had a very special experience when we attended Freckleface Strawberry, the hit off Broadway family musical, at a benefit for Save The Children at MMAC Theatre (Manhattan Movement and Arts Center).  Last year when I saw and covered Freckleface, I mentioned that I enjoyed it as much as my kids. FRECKLEFACE STRAWBERY, the hit off Broadway family musical has teamed up with Save The Children and will present a special benefit performance on Saturday, December 10th at 3 pm at MMAC Theatre (Manhattan Movement and Arts Center), 248 West 60th Street off of West End Avenue. The beloved New York Times best selling children’s book Freckleface Strawberry by the celebrated actress Julianne Moore is adapted into a 75-minute musical chock full of  music, dance and fun. The show now opens on Friday, October 1st with previews starting on Thursday, September 9th at New World Stages (340 West 50th St- between 8th and 9th Avenues) .
