I seem to know a lot of people writing books lately.  One of these friends happens to be Una La Marche, author of the new book Five Summers.  It's coined Young Adult but I enjoyed it every much as my 10 year-old who happens to be heading off to sleep-a-way camp this summer for the first time. FIve Summers is very much a homage, if not a love letter, to a child's camp experience. Book Review: The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin

The Happiness Project

I recently finished The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin.  She and I had a chance meeting this past summer at BlogHer.  We were both gathered to celebrate our friends from ONE MOMS  who had just returned from Kenya.   We were about to watch an ABC segment all about their trip and mission as a result of their involvement with ONE.  It was awe inspiring, to say the least, and since then, I have joined their effort.
