When I was growing up, my mother filled our lives with the songs and music of composers Rodgers & Hammerstein.  She took us to revivals at the local theaters of Oklahoma!, South Pacific, Carousel, The King and I and, naturally, The Sound of Music.  My sister performed in several of these shows and I played their music on the piano.  Their music, shows and films definitely played an important part of my youth, which I'm always happy to relive.
