When my kids and I headed into New World Stages on Sunday to see Freckleface Strawberry, I have to admit that I had pretty big expectations. After all, the book the play was based on is written by one of my favorite actresses, Julianne Moore. In addition, we have had some great theatrical experiences recently at this theater with the Gazillion Bubbles Show and ImaginOcean. Carnegie Hall Family Concert Series

The first time I set foot into Carnegie Hall was an amazing experience that stands out in my mind. Listening to classical music live on the Carnegie Hall stage is a memorizing experience. A Day at the Intrepid Air, Sea and Space Museum

This past weekend we paid a visit to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City as part of my involvement the Kids Club 13. We had never been to the Intrepid, but it was definitely on our list of things to do, so we were thrilled it was on Kid's Club 13's agenda. My husband is always asking me why I need so many time-outs. He has never understood my rationale for wanting and needing to spend time alone.
