Giveaway: 4 Tickets to the NY Botanical Garden’s Orchid Show

I’m a big fan of the annual Orchid Show at The NY Botanical Garden, and I’m thrilled to be hosting a giveaway to send a family to experience it for themselves.

Beginning February 28, The Orchid Show: Chandeliers will dramatically transform the NYBG’s landmark Enid A. Haupt Conservatory into the country’s largest curated show featuring orchids. Each year this eagerly anticipated exhibition displays thousands of orchids, captivating New Yorkers and visitors from across the country and around the world. This year the exhibition is designed by the Botanical Garden’s own Francisca Coelho, Vivian and Edward Merrin Vice President for Glasshouses and Exhibitions, who has been called “the best female head gardener at present working under glass.”

The exhibition runs through April 19, 2015 and is truly a mesmorizing experience for any child, yet alone adult.

The show is truly a New Yorker’s defining moment, and the experience will just add to the pride that you have in this incredible city that we live in. And now, right here on the Culture Mom, you can enter to win FOUR tickets to the Orchid Show.

HOW TO ENTER?

  • Comment here and let me know how engaged you or your children are in nature.
  • Tweet this message: “Hope I win the @NYBG Annual Orchid Show giveaway from http://bit.ly/1zf1TXV via @hollychronicles”

Contest ends midnight Eastern time, Monday, March 2nd.  The four packs need to be used before the show ends on April 19th, 2015. The winner will have 24 hours to accept their prize.

Disclosure: These tickets were provided to me complimentary for this giveaway but I was not compensated for this post.

  1. We finally moved our apartment into a home of our home. My little girl & I started a fairy garden outside her bedroom window & planted an apple tree in the yard. She loves being outside & since the Aplles tree is so tiny she can reach up & grab the apple of her choice. This spring we plan to add more, this would be a great family day to view & learn. Bringing home a few ideas to help us create a bigger garden area.

  2. im from RI and nature surrounds us. we love to be outdoors as much as possible but this weather has not been so premitting. We are very engaged with nature, flowers in the house or getting leaves for placemates. always something to do with all that nature has to give.

  3. Wendy Wallach says:

We are very engaged with nature that exists all around us. We make frequent trips to state parks close by to enjoy the peace and serenity
