Brooklyn Bridge Park Hosts New “Bridge Culture” Festival

For its kick-off year, Bridge Culture will celebrate Brooklyn, India, Russia and Haiti with performances by some of New York City’s international artists. This Saturday, July 10th, from 4-6pm, the event will celebrate with by NYC-based Blues legend Michael Powers, Gowanus Wildcats Drill Team and Hip Hop/spoken word artist Queen Godis.
Bridge Culture was conceived by artist/philanthropist Danny Simmons, a member of the Park’s Board of Directors. It’s a project of Full Spectrum Experience, in partnership with Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and the Brooklyn Bridge Park Development Corporation and is sponsored by Bloomberg.
