The Culture Mom’s mission is to enliven readers by showing how accessible and fun cultural and travel experiences, in New York City and beyond, can be in everyday life.  The Culture Mom is a gallant, worldly irreverent, urban explorer with broad cultural interests.  We’re passionate about travel, film, TV, reading, music, art and new experiences, both for us and our children. We also love the idea of social good, using our online voice to make a difference.

Holly Rosen Fink, the site’s editor and founder, has a career that spans the world of television and publishing, including positions at Lifetime Television, Nickelodeon/MTV and John Wiley & Sons where she worked closely with Arthur and Pauline Frommer to promote their brand.  She is currently the founder and CEO of Pivoting Media, a marketing consultancy that focuses on mindful social media.

She is a frequent contributor to  The Broad Side, BlogHer, Indiewire’s Women and Hollywood, Family Vacation CriticCiao Bambino and This Girl Travels.  Two years ago she edited Come Closer: How Tourism is Shaping the Future of Nations.

Advocacy is an important part of her work. She has contributed to the ABC Million Mom CampaignONE Moms mission.  Last year she was featured on ABC Nightline and Good Morning, America talking about hunger in the U.S. She has also spearheaded two very successful fundraising campaigns for St. Jude Hospital and Room to Grow.

She was recently an Associate Producer on The Best of Everything at the Here Theater and Producer of the last three productions of the NYC production of Listen to Your Mother. She lives in Larchmont, NY with her husband and two children.
